Fast Start Tutorial - Installation

SecureCheck program files have been compressed into one file for fast and easy downloading. The files will self-extract into the temporary folder  C: \seckTEMP\ , prior to setup.
The following Screen by Screen preview will show you just how easy it is to install SecureCheck.

Click <Here> for Text Only instructions.

Start by Downloading the file seck301p.exe to a folder of your choice. When you're ready to install the program, browse to that Downloaded File folder and Double Click the file Icon.



This Dialog Box will appear.


Click <OK> to continue.


Click < Unzip> to extract the files.


Click <OK> to continue.


Click <Continue> to begin the Setup.


Enter your Name and your Company.  Click <Continue>


Uncheck Help Icons and Registration Icons.  Click <Install>


Click <OK> to continue.


Click <OK> when prompted to Insert Next Disk.


SecureCheck does not have to be Registered, but this Dialog Box must have an entry in each field in order to proceed.  Any character will do.  Click <OK>


Click <OK> to continue.

Several Dialog Boxes will appear on your screen.  Take no action until you see the "Installation Complete" Dialog Box shown below.


Click <Return to Windows>


<Close> the SecureCheck Professional 3.1.0 folder shown above.

How to Install the Special ProMICR100 font that will be used to print the Bank Routing and Account numbers.


Click <Install New Font> on the File menu.


Double Click the C:\Windows\System folder in the "Folders" area (above).

ProMICR100 Regular (True Type) will appear in the "List of Fonts".

Highlight that font.  Click <OK>.

The ProMICR100 font will be installed to your C:\Windows\Fonts\ folder (see below).

You may want to Click <Refresh> on the View menu and scroll down to make sure the font is there, in the folder, before you close it.


<Close> the Fonts folder.

<Close> your Downloaded File folder (example below).


INSTALLATION IS COMPLETE
